2. Data we collect

Depending on how you use the website and app, we may process:

• account data: email address, sign-in credentials (including via Google or Apple);
• profile: username, bio, photo, preferences, settings;
• training: programs, sessions, loads, history;
• nutrition: food journal, goals, related preferences;
• community: posts, likes, comments, follow relationships;
• technical data: device and technical logs needed for operation and security;
• on the marketing site: audience measurement if you accept analytics cookies (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights).

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process your data to: provide and secure the service (contract performance); improve the product and website (legitimate interest or consent for analytics cookies); respond to your requests (legitimate interest / pre-contractual steps); comply with legal obligations.

4. Recipients

Your data is hosted and processed by technical providers required to run the service: authentication, database, and media storage (Google Cloud / Firebase), website hosting (Vercel), email (Brevo when used), form abuse protection (Cloudflare Turnstile when enabled), and payment providers (Stripe and/or app stores) for subscriptions. We do not sell your data.

Community content you choose to make public is visible to other users according to your privacy settings.

5. Transfers outside the EU

Some providers may be located outside the EU (including in the United States). In that case, appropriate safeguards are implemented under applicable law (standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms).

6. Retention

Account and service data are kept while your account is active, then deleted or anonymized within a reasonable time after account deletion, unless a longer legal retention period applies. Analytics data is kept according to the tool configuration and for a limited period.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability, subject to legal conditions.

To exercise them: from the app (when available) or by email at contact@buyldapp.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority (CNIL — www.cnil.fr) or your local authority.

8. Cookies and analytics

The marketing site may use cookies or similar technologies for audience measurement (Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights) only if you consent via the banner. You may decline; the site remains usable.

These tools help us understand traffic and page performance. No third-party advertising pixels are enabled by default on the marketing site.

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong password and protect your device.

10. Minors

The service is reserved for people aged 15 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 15.

11. Changes

This policy may be updated. The update date appears at the top of the page. For material changes, notice may be provided via the website or the app.
